Industry Pros Gather for IT Nation – Cybersecurity a Top Priority

Avast Business Team , 24 October 2019

As information technology professionals gather in Orlando, Florida for one of the IT industry’s biggest conferences – cybersecurity stands out as a key priority.

The 15th IT Nation Connect conference will pull together more than 3,000 representatives of companies that sell, support, and service technology Oct. 30th – Nov. 1 in Orlando, Fla. Avast Business will be there to discuss the issue of cybersecurity, which a new survey says is a major concern of IT pros.

Most IT and security pros say they could not afford all of the minimum security needed to protect themselves, Dark Reading reported last week. More than half (56%) of the respondents in the survey had experienced a significant security event – a breach, intrusion, or malware infection - in the past year.

Avast Business will be located in Booth #707 of the Solutions Pavilion to connect with attendees about the changing network security landscape and what managed security service providers can do to stay ahead of the game. With small and mid-size businesses as the main targets for cybercrime, MSSPs have a unique opportunity to benefit from cloud-based security solutions.

If you stop by to chat, you’ll have a chance to enter our giveaway for a brand new pair of Bose QuietComfort 35 Headphones II.

For more information on getting tickets or where to find us, see the IT Nation website.
